In the first quarter of 2024, the Piedmont real estate market experienced growth, with prices for both sales and rentals rising and demand increasing in both sectors. These are the results highlighted by Immobiliare.it's Quarterly Observatory on the Real Estate Market

How is the real estate market doing in Piedmont?

Those wishing to buy a home in Piedmont must now consider an average cost of 1,523 euros per square meter, a 3.6 percent increase over the previous quarter. As for renting, the average price is 9 euros per square meter, an increase of 1.6 percent in the first three months of the year.

Looking at other market indicators, demand for real estate increased significantly between January and March 2024, with a 17.9 percent increase in buying and selling and an 8.9 percent increase in renting. However, available supply increased by 4.5 percent in sales and decreased by 3.6 percent in rentals.

Demand for homes for sale increased in almost all areas during the period, except for the municipality of Novara, which recorded a slight decline of 2.6 percent. For rentals, interest grew in most territories, with some exceptions such as Novara, Vercelli and Cuneo.
